New Cover For Walking Ghost Phase

Not that I didn't like the old cover, on which Aelise did an awesome job, but I wanted to begin continuity with the sequels and their covers. UVUDU ? Imaging did a great job, and the sequel cover will contain a similarly branded theme.

Destiny's Dwellers available for purchase!

Destiny's Dwellers is the first book in a planned trilogy that follows the adventures of fifteen-year-old Destin Shaw as he navigates an afterlife of drama, evil, betrayal and sacrifice. This was the first novel I ever completed to a first draft (several years ago). I'd actually shelved it--because it was a travesty of the English language--but one day I let a friend read it. She convinced me to rewrite and polish the prose. I'm glad I did. Thanks, Kerry!

I want to thank my beta readers for their time and insights, Aelise Davis for her work on the cover and Judy Reveal for her editing services.

Destiny's Dwellers will be exclusive to Amazon for the first ninety days of release, so get your copy today!

Blogging, Walking Ghost Phase, and the Next Project.

I originally had three posts on this blog. They dealt with independent publication (cover design, editing, formatting, etc). Then I realized I was just repeating what a hundred other blogs had already said. Besides, I want this blog to be for the readers.

Unfortunately, I can't talk much about Walking Ghost Phase on the open web because I don't want to spoil any part of the story for readers who may not have finished or even started the novel. So if you have potentially spoiling comments or questions about Walking Ghost Phase, please email me:

What's next?

I am currently rewriting the second novel I ever finished. It was a good idea then and still is, but the writing needed significant work. It is a planned YA trilogy in the urban fantasy genre (no vampires, werewolves, zombies or magic). I am hoping for a late spring or early summer release on the first installment, followed by the second installment sometime later this year. The first installment is taking longer because I need to make sure all the continuation in plotting makes sense in the later installments.
